Are you really happy?

Today, I have came to myself that I have so many things to be thankful for. Sometimes everything around us tend to be a sequence or routine and it comes overlooked. This week I realized that out of one simple act can brighten up your day, just by giving out used clothes from our closet. And also, remembering how hubby calls whenever he's out, to ask me how my day went and what am I doing or the morning kiss that always greet me is too sweet to be unheeded. The times that my dad left viber messages and the idea that he tries to call me when I got missed calls (often fails to return his call though -.-) can be cute memories unnoticed through the test of time. So we should pay attention to what we have and those people who treat us more than well. A stranger or the not so favorite friend can be that person too, who gives you importance yet had taken for granted all the while. I was guilty for all those times I asked God by prayer of abundance in my life, in strife of how he speaks to me because of what others try to redefine his words. So you really need to study His word and not just hearing it by someone and holding on to his promise that He gives us all the desires of our hearts. Because before He said that, it sez, "Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4). His promise are true for what is true. It's like deeper than what we think. If we delight ourselves in the Lord, it's experiencing bliss of His existence, and not just claiming that we believe in Him and His going to give our heart's desires because we're like fools. Yes, true! He faithfully gives us more than our desires, because he gives us the best not what we think is best for us, your desire is yours but not His! He gives us joy rather than temporary things you believe called felicity. Each one of us wants to be happy in every aspect, and that we always search for it. It's indeed the most ridiculous phrase because you'll never find it. Yet, there's this nature of seeking something uncertain that we think, can make as whole. And once we achieved it. It can satisfy us for a moment but just for that moment. The next day and months you'll be used to it and start to search for new. Unending it is, he/she is never enough. We imagine someone else or make comparison, and that can result to contention or separation. Also, It was said that one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possession (luke 12:15). You can buy 3 cars but you can only drive one car at a time. I do not understand the idea that you will become more happy if you have a big house and travel around the world, rather than living a peaceful life with the people you love. Would you agree with that? Well, I do not know what makes you happy and what's your priority in life. It can be someone or something and it can always change. For me, you just allow yourself to be contented of what you have. Start appreciating every last bite. Often we don't see them if our plate is full. So we should learn to give time to the one who has created our life. From the day I start walking with the Lord,  I still feel happy, of course I am a normal human being. But it was different when I made a intimate relationship with Him. I pray for contentment because if I feel that way, it's more than just being happy. Start your relationship with Him too, it doesn't need your attendance every Sundays or like partying till the break of dawn. Talking to Him doesn't need an altar to be heard. It takes a sincere heart at any time 24/7 wherever you are. Because I can't stop telling the world the impacts the way I live my life on a daily basis ^.^ How about you, are you JUST Happy? ;-)
